Paul Madden started in the yacht business as a manager for Camper & Nicholsons and went on to represent Blohm+Voss (now Lurssen) and CRN Yachts (Italy). In addition to being a large yacht broker, he converts commercial vessels into global expedition yachts (see Xplorer Yachts). His broad experience includes contracting the new-build Heywood/Disdale-designed 92-meter MAYAN QUEEN and currently developing an innovative 100-meter expedition yacht new-build. His long-time clients have owned such vessels as the 180’ classic yacht Stargazer (formerly owned by Henry Ford II) and the 141’ expedition yacht MARCATO. He has been involved in the purchase and conversions of the 303’ ex-NOAA ship SAHARA, 171’ ex-NOAA research ship Ocean Starr, and the 204' Ulstein OSV Ocean Tay, amongst others.

Paul Madden received his MBA from Boston University's overseas program in Brussels and a Master's Degree in filmmaking from The National Film & Television School of England. He raced on the Colorado University Ski Team and competed in F.I.S. races in Europe and Chile.
